Iron City Hoops will offer an in-house Sunday Summer Basketball Program for 4th through 12th Grade boys. The games/skills combo program will take place at Mountain Brook Junior High School on Sunday afternoons. The plan is to have a 4th/5th, Middle School, JV, and Varsity divisions for both boys. The ability to have a grade division will be dependent on the number of players registered for those grade levels and please know we may need to alter grade participation based on registration numbers. The total program is limited to 80 players.
All divisions will be a skills/game combo where players will receive a 30-minute skills session, 15 minute practice, and then a running clock game. The games will be Camp-style games of 16 minute running clock halves. Players will participate in 5 sessions. Teams will play half court man-to-man defense. Each game session begins with a 15 minute practice and then teams will move into game play. Teams will have a max of 10 players. Iron City Hoops will provide coaches to oversee the games and referees.
Program dates are the following Sundays:
June 16th & 23rd
July 14th, 21st, & 28th
Cost of the program is $190 for the 5 Sundays.
